Unofficial ink Cookbook
The Unofficial ink Cookbook began as a collaboration between Dan Cox and Taylor Howard to create an open textbook on GitHub for students and hobbyists alike to learn ink. It was originally shared online in early 2020.
In 2021, Dan Cox worked on the first textbook on ink, Dynamic Story Scripting with the ink Scripting Language (2021), and Taylor Howard finished his dissertation using ink named Critical Modding: A Design Framework for Exploring Representation in Games (2021).
In 2025, work was done to help update the materials for a 2.0 version with interactive examples and notes on advanced patterns.
